I've got a riddle for you. What do you get with an old railway line, ancient Viking tales and the Emerald Isle? Why, the Waterford Greenway trail, of course! This 46 km off-road path  is a journey of Ireland's Ancient East and tells stories of Celtic High Kings, Druids & fierce Nordic conquerors. 

But that's not all I love about this area. A step into the Ancient East is like a step back in time. You'll uncover: 

• 5,000 years of history between castles, kingdoms, battles & betrayals. 
• Ireland's oldest city and cultural hub - Waterford
• Epic tales of witches, heroes, saints and lords
• Charming coastal towns like my hometown of Dungarvan
